SUMMARY:Arbor Day Tree Giveaway
DESCRIPTION:We love trees and are committed to helping build and sustain our urban forest. Trees provide shade\, support wildlife\, improve water drainage\, prevent soil erosion\, and offer many other benefits to our city.\nWe are planning a fall tree-planting project and are excited to offer free trees to three homeowners this year. The City will handle arborist approval for a list of approved trees and placement\, as well as the purchase\, delivery\, and planting of each tree. Homeowners are responsible for ongoing watering.\nWe simply ask that the tree be planted in the front yard so it can be enjoyed by the entire community.\nOffer is first come\, first served. The lucky homeowners will be announced at our Arbor Day Celebration on April 25\, 2026.\nIf you are interested\, please email ellen.f.sears@gmail.com
